Join us for a Natural Dyeing workshop at Kelmscott Manor

Natural dyer Kate Turnbull will talk you through the process of natural dyeing, mindful foraging, colour extraction and hue modification using some of William Morris textiles as a starting point.
You will leave with a range of samples and instructions so that you can continue to develop your new skills at home!
The day will include:
Introductory talk about natural dyeing, ethical foraging &  plant identification.
Foraging in the Manor grounds.
Demonstration followed by dye extraction
Colour modification to develop palette
Overview and Q&A, to include how to set up your own kitchen dyery!
