Learn About Legacies for Kelmscott Manor

Suggested Wording for a Legacy Gift

Legacies can prove to be extremely tax-efficient; the Society is an exempt charity, which means that the value of your gift is deducted before your estate is assessed for inheritance tax (if you leave more than 10% of your net exempt estate to a charity, inheritance tax on the remainder is reduced to 36% rather than 40%.

Every gift is greatly appreciated and enables us to continue holding knowledge in trust for the future.
