Group guided tours:
We are pleased to welcome organised group visits every Wednesday throughout our Open Season (April to October). We offer a range of options to groups of between 25 and 42 people, including guided tours of the Manor with our experienced volunteer guides and delicious home-cooked food in our five-star rated Tearoom.
These visits are very popular and must be booked in advance. See the below table for our current availability. Please note that although we have availability on these dates not all time slots may be available.

Group visits on public open days:
We invite groups interested in a self-led visit to attend one of our public open days, which take place Thursday to Saturday during our Open Season.
Tickets are pre-bookable online from March onwards. Coaches are only welcome by prior arrangement. Please contact booking staff before booking to confirm travel arrangements for your group so that we can ensure we have coach parking available.
Bespoke and exclusive visits:
Looking for a bespoke and exclusive experience?
Beyond our Group Day Guided Tours, we also offer customised, private visits.
These visits may include:
- A private presentation for your group by our Curator.
- Exclusive access to the site for your group.
- Viewing archival material not currently on display in the Manor house.
- A private, specialized guided tour from our Curator for smaller groups of up to ten people.
